Assassination plan against Polish Prime Minister Tusk was reported: 'The threat is serious'

Galecka announced that the security units were instructed to take action and that the security units would hold an emergency meeting to discuss the situation. Government Spokesperson Adam Szlapka, in his statement to Polsat News, stated that the issue is serious and Prime Minister Tusk was informed about the threat around 07:00 local time today.

Stating that Tusk is in the capital Warsaw and continues his official duties, Szlapka noted that the security units continue their work on the issue and that all information that can be shared will be disclosed after the meeting.

Prime Minister Tusk had warned that Russia was likely to increase its hybrid attacks against NATO's eastern flank.
