The damage caused by the powerful storm that hit Greater Poland is being removed. Firefighters from this voivodeship intervened over 300 times. The commune of Kłecko suffered the most.

There are broken branches, fallen trees moved from the road, and road signs along the access roads to Kłecko, our reporter reports.

There are several places in the town itself where damage is visible. The effects of the storm have been being removed since the night.

We carried out mainly two types of activities: securing damaged buildings and removing fallen trees. The Kłecko commune in the Gniezno district suffered the most. In Kłecko itself, the wind tore off, among other things, the roof of an annex to a residential house and the roof of a barn. The fallen tree fell on a car and a residential building, destroying two chimneys - said the spokesman for the Greater Poland Fire Department, Asst. Martin Halasz.

In the last 24 hours, firefighters across the country intervened approximately 1,200 times in connection with the passing atmospheric front.
