City Hall suspends another 'Free Right' in Feira de Santana to assemble boxes for Micareta 2026

The Municipal Traffic Superintendency (SMT) temporarily suspended another Free Right lane in Feira de Santana, in order to facilitate the assembly of Micareta structures. The change came into effect this Tuesday (3), at the intersection of Avenida João Durval Carneiro and Avenida Presidente Dutra.

The off-season carnival takes place from November 19th to 22nd.

With the change, drivers traveling along João Durval and wishing to access Presidente Dutra must wait for the traffic lights to turn.

According to SMT, the suspension is temporary. The Free Right track will be reactivated after the end of the party and the complete dismantling of the box structures.

This is the second suspension of a Free Right in the city in preparation for the party. The first took place on October 12, at the intersection of Maria Quitéria and Presidente Dutra avenues, also to ensure safety during the assembly of boxes and other event structures.

According to the Traffic Superintendent, Ricardo Cunha, the measure seeks to avoid traffic conflicts and reduce the risk of accidents during assembly work, which involves the movement of vehicles and workers.
