Kaio Kalton de Brito Soares, 22 years old, was arrested red-handed on Sunday (18). On Monday (19), he underwent a custody hearing, and the prison was converted into preventive. He must answer for attempted femicide.

Before the attack on Elizabeth, the images show that the young man was involved in a fight with another man, who managed to escape. At that moment, he already had a broken glass bottle in his hands.

After the crime, the person being investigated allegedly left the scene and resisted arrest. According to the report, he refused to comply with the military police officers' orders, broke a glass bottle and attacked the agents, to whom he also allegedly sent death threats.

As reported by TV Anhanguera, Kaio was shot in the legs to be restrained and then taken to the hospital.

During the custody hearing, judge Eduardo Pio Mascarenhas da Silva highlighted that “the multiplicity of blows, the instrument used and the accentuated physical vulnerability of the victim reveal brutality that goes beyond the abstract gravity of the crime and highlights a concrete risk to public order”.
