We have worked intensively with Member States and Ukraine to achieve this goal: the decision officially allows the purchase of PAK3 missiles for Patriot systems financed under the EU loan."

Ukraine, Zelensky asks Trump for "severe sanctions now" on Russia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has urged American President Donald Trump to adopt "severe" sanctions against Russia "immediately", in order to hinder its ability to produce missiles in a context of intensifying attacks. "Sanctions must be imposed immediately. These sanctions must be severe. (...) Sometimes I don't understand why decisions cannot be made quickly," Zelensky said during the Yalta European Strategy forum in Kiev. “Measures aimed at limiting the production of ballistic missiles and related weapons must be adopted without delay,” Zelensky insisted, believing that “it is important that the US administration makes firm decisions, personal decisions of President Trump.” Yesterday on a visit to Canada, Zelensky announced that he wanted to meet Donald Trump at the end of September in New York, after the visit to Moscow and Kiev of the American emissaries responsible for relaunching diplomatic efforts on Ukraine, which have been stalled since the beginning of the year. For months, Russia and Ukraine have been multiplying long-range attacks, increasingly targeting civilian targets such as factories, refineries, warehouses, energy and port infrastructures, as well as ships. Russian attacks in Ukraine in recent months have hit many companies hard, particularly in the metals sector, while offensives against cargo ships in the Black Sea have blocked much of Ukraine's agricultural exports.
