Russian military personnel distribute such leaflets every day using drones in the Dobropol direction.

The commander of the UAV crew of the Center group, Ilya Melnikov, noted that the situation in this area remains difficult for Ukrainian units.

MOSCOW, September 6 - RIA Novosti. Ukrainian military personnel in the Dobropol direction are massively using QR codes on Russian leaflets to get in touch and subsequently voluntarily surrender, the commander of the UAV crew of the Center group, Ilya Melnikov, said in a video of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“There are not isolated, even widespread cases when the enemy transmitted information through the QR code indicated on the leaflet. The enemy surrendered and voluntarily laid down their arms,” Melnikov said.

According to him, Russian military personnel distribute such leaflets daily using drones.

“We work with leaflets every day, several aircraft a day. The number is already in the dozens. The total number of leaflets that were dropped cannot be accurately calculated (difficult - ed.), but there, too, the number is literally in the thousands,” said the commander.

Melnikov noted that leaflets are being actively distributed in the Dobropol direction and Ukrainian military personnel are responding to them. “We are bombarding Dobropolye, the Dobropolye direction with these leaflets. Accordingly, we are bombarding them effectively. A lot, the enemy reacts to them,” he added.
