Four young people are arrested after removing bones from a grave in a cemetery in Uberaba
According to the PM, suspects entered the São João Batista Cemetery and removed remains that were in an open grave after exhumation. Bones were found inside a backpack.

Four young people aged 18 and 19 were arrested on Sunday (6) in Uberaba. They removed human bones from a grave in the São João Batista Cemetery.
An ambulance driver called the Military Police after seeing the group in black clothes and painted faces at the scene. The action took place around 6:40 am.
Military police officers approached a 19-year-old young man 4 blocks from the cemetery. He was carrying a backpack containing a plastic bag with human remains.
The other 3 suspects were located inside the cemetery. They initially denied rape, but later confessed to having removed the bones from an open grave.
The grave had been opened for exhumation the day before. The young people were arrested red-handed and the remains returned to the employee.

Four young people, aged between 18 and 19, were arrested after removing human bones from a grave in the São João Batista Cemetery, in Uberaba. The incident was recorded on Sunday morning (6), in the Parque Grande Horizonte neighborhood.
According to the Military Police (PM), a City Hall ambulance driver informed the military that he had seen, at around 6:40 am, a man outside the cemetery receiving a bag delivered by three other people who were inside the place.

According to the report, the group wore black clothes and their faces were painted. The driver suspected that they might be stealing objects from the cemetery.
Young man is approached with bag containing bones
During the work, the police found a 19-year-old young man approximately four blocks from the cemetery. He was carrying a backpack and showed nervousness when he noticed the vehicle approaching.
Inside the backpack, police found a plastic bag containing several human bones.
When questioned, the suspect stated that there were three friends inside the cemetery. He also said that they entered the place for religious purposes.
Trio is found inside the cemetery
Given the information, a police team went to the São João Batista Cemetery to locate the other three suspects.
Initially, the young people said they had entered the place around 4am just to hang out and listen to music. They stated that they jumped the gate and denied having violated graves or removed bones.
According to the PM, after being informed that their friend had been found with a bag containing human remains, the three changed their version.
They told the police that they found an open grave and, inside it, a bag of bones. The authors stated that they decided to remove some remains and place them in another bag.
Grave had been opened for exhumation
The suspects led police officers to the grave where they said they removed the bones. At the site, the military found an open grave, without the covers, and a bag used to store mortal remains.
A cemetery employee confirmed that the grave had been opened the day before to exhume a body. After the procedure, the remains were placed in a bag and left inside the grave.
According to the official, a new burial was scheduled to take place in the same place at 8am on Sunday.
Prison
Under the circumstances, the perpetrators were arrested in the act for the crime provided for in article 211 of the Penal Code, which deals with the destruction, subtraction or concealment of a corpse or part of it. They were taken to the Civil Police Duty Station.
The bones found were returned to the cemetery employee to be replaced in the tomb.
