Findings on the stolen minicar, work is being done on dozens of cameras

We are viewing the many cameras present in the attack quadrant, it will take time but we will get to the perpetrators. From the words of the investigators it emerges that this week could be decisive for the investigation into the attack on the actor Davide Iacopini, which occurred on October 5th in a street in Monteverde Vecchio. The actor, who remains hospitalized in serious condition at the San Camillo hospital, as well as at least six other people, was hit by a young man who was traveling with another person on board a black electric minicar. Same color and model as the car stolen from a lawyer, who was interviewed by investigators, presumably after 8.30pm last Monday.

According to what the investigators are verifying, coordinated by the deputy prosecutor Ambrogio Cassiani, the vehicle would also have been available to the professional's two sons, one of whom was still a minor. Elements on which the investigator could carry out checks with "initial" technical checks in the context of an investigation in which proceedings are being carried out for attempted murder. The primary objective of the investigators is to identify with certainty the license plate of the car used by the two, one of whom, according to a brief description provided by a witness, would have blond crew cut hair and be of a slim build. During one of the attacks, which took place on the Testaccio bridge, the attacker apparently lost a hat which was then made available to the investigators.

The fact that all the attacks took place in a maze of streets not far from each other makes investigators think that the two perpetrators live in the area and know that neighborhood well. The number of episodes, the random choice of victims, including two women among those targeted, points to a serial night patrol even if at the moment there is no evidence of a possible lead linked to "social challenges". Particular attention is paid to the videos recorded in the areas affected by the episodes and in the access roads to the neighborhood. Investigators are also looking for any witnesses who may have noticed useful details during the hours of the attacks. Each element collected will be compared with the material already acquired during the investigation activity.

Iacopini's condition remains critical. The 42-year-old, who appears in the cast of successful series such as Suburra and Real Maschi, is hospitalized in intensive care and is constantly monitored after having undergone a delicate neurosurgery operation in recent days.
