Another lap, another run, another 4-0. It's an exaggerated Roma that passes to Lecce, with a Malen in super format. After having asphalted Fiorentina, at Via del Mare it is repeated, with an eye-rubbing first half. Three goals in just 25 minutes of play, with the Dutchman scoring a brace and others scored by applause, then Soulè's goal. The icing on the cake was Mora's goal, his first in the Giallorossi shirt in the second half.
Rome was in complete control of the match from the start, the technical gap with Lecce was too evident in the unprecedented three-man defense proposed by Di Francesco, which greatly facilitated the progress of the first part of the match. Eight goals scored, still a clean sheet, and Roma players catching the Milanese, Juve and their Lazio cousins at the top. At home in Lecce, Di Francesco proposes a three-man defense with Gaspar, Siebert and Tiago Gabriel, on the Coulibaly attacking midfield with Pierotti behind Guebbels, the Giallorossi offensive terminal.
