Russian military reports gains in Kharkov Region as international diplomatic activities continue

Russian forces close in on Ukrainian troops trapped in Kharkov Region. The Russia’s Defense Ministry added that two attempts by Ukrainian assault teams to break out of the encirclement near Sliznyovo and Gogino had been thwarted.

Putin to take part in BRICS summit events on second day of India visit. The leaders of the BRICS countries will meet in a closed-door session attended exclusively by the group’s members represented at the highest level.

Earlier, the Russian leader held bilateral talks with the host of the BRICS summit taking place in New Delhi, Narendra Modi, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
