SAC will have exclusive services for children this Saturday in Bahia

The Citizen Assistance Service (SAC) will have exclusive assistance for children and adolescents this Saturday (17), at stations in the capital, the Metropolitan Region of Salvador (RMS) and the interior of Bahia. The action is part of the Little Citizen Project, which offers free issuance of the new National Identity Card (CIN) in an environment prepared for children.

The service will be carried out in the morning, by prior appointment at fixed units. Appointments must be made by calling (71) 4020-5353, for cell phone calls, or 0800 071 5353, for landline calls.

In Feira de Santana, the second largest city in Bahia, the service will be available at SAC Feira I and SAC Feira II stations. At SAC Móvel, service will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The trailer will be in the municipality of Ibiquera.

How to issue the identity?

To obtain the document, the child must be accompanied by their father or mother and present the original birth certificate. If the certificate is laminated, you must also bring a simple copy.

The first copy of the CIN is free and uses the Individual Taxpayer Registry (CPF) as a unique identification number.

The document also allows you to include additional information, such as blood type, RH factor, option for organ donation and health conditions, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and hearing, visual, physical and intellectual disabilities.

The digital version of the identity becomes available on the Gov.br app three days after printing the physical document.

Validity

The validity of the CIN varies according to age:

from 0 to 12 years of age: 5 years;

from 12 to 60 years of age: 10 years;

over 60 years: indefinite validity.
