Şamil Tayyar's statement about AKP and MHP: 'It also led to a partnership of sin!'

The formula "Erdogan in the executive, MHP in the legislature", expressed by MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli at last week's group meeting, continues to be discussed within the People's Alliance.

Bahçeli stated that the Turkish Grand National Assembly should decide on elections in 2028 and wanted AKP's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to be president for another term.

Bahçeli's statements were interpreted as MHP aiming to increase its weight in the legislative body in the coming period.

AKP member Şamil Tayyar, who participated in the discussions, evaluated the nearly 10-year political unity of the People's Alliance in his statement on his social media account.

Tayyar pointed out the evaluations that Bahçeli's statement aimed to gather voters resentful of AKP in MHP and discussed the effect of the political partnership between the two parties on voter behavior.

Tayyar used the following statements in his post:

"In recent political circles, I have come across Devlet Bahçeli's formula: "Erdoğan in the executive branch, MHP in the legislature."

The question is ready: What did Mr. Devlet mean?

The dominant comment is aimed at gathering the masses who are resentful of the AK Party to the MHP.

I don't know what the State Brain's intention is, but my thoughts on this subject are as follows:

In the first years of the People's Alliance, MHP was like a haven for those who broke away from the AK Party.

In the nearly 10 years that have passed, the strong bond and cooperation between the AK Party and MHP has led to a partnership of sins when things go wrong, as well as a partnership of good deeds.

Therefore, the reactions towards the government are at the expense of both parties.

In my opinion, the vote transition is considered to be at a standstill.

That's why I find the strategy of "standing together" more reasonable than the goal of "being alternative."

In Tayyar's statement, it was noteworthy that he argued that MHP was an alternative address for voters who moved away from AKP in the first years of the People's Alliance, but this situation changed in the past period.

Stating that the vote transfer between AKP and MHP has come to a halt, Tayyar stated that MHP should focus on the recovery of the two parties together instead of the aim of being an alternative to AKP.
