San Francisco is preparing for an extremely wet winter

Our friends and neighbors in San Francisco are talking about the weather a lot these days. Not about the bitterly cold coastal fog that Mark Twain cursed. Or the autumn sun, which makes for particularly warm days. It's already about winter, which is supposed to be extremely wet.

The family in the next house therefore wants to seal their roof quickly. Beaches are becoming a danger zone and the city is already giving away sandbags. California Governor Gavin Newsom even declared a state of emergency last Monday as a precautionary measure. Sensible precautions are mixed with a typically American penchant for drama.
