Knife fight in the marketplace in Sancaktepe: 6 injured, including a child

6 people, including a child, were injured in a knife fight that broke out in the marketplace in Sancaktepe. While it was learned that one of the injured was in life-threatening condition, work was initiated to capture the suspect.

The incident took place at 08.04 at the public market on Akın Street in Yenidoğan District of Sancaktepe district. Allegedly, the argument between the parties over the market quickly turned into a knife fight. Ferhat Ö in the fight. (31), Gökmen Ö. (36), Yener Ö. (47), Bekir G. (41), Burak Ö. (19) and B.Ö. (15) was injured with a knife.

Upon notice, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured were taken to hospitals after the first aid of medical teams. It was learned that Ferhat Ö., one of the injured, was in life-threatening condition, while the other 5 people were not in life-threatening condition.

While police teams affiliated with Sancaktepe District Police Department started working to capture the suspect Mustafa H. (47), who escaped after the incident, the investigation into the incident continues.
