BEIJING — Saudi Arabia will participate as guest of honor at the 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) as part of an official Saudi delegation’s visit to China aimed at strengthening investment ties between the two countries.

The Saudi pavilion will showcase the Kingdom’s investment, commercial and industrial opportunities and projects, as well as incentives, enablers and services available to investors. It will also highlight Saudi tourism and culture through accompanying activities and host meetings, sessions and investment events bringing together Saudi and Chinese officials, business leaders and investors.

Saudi Assistant Minister of Investment Ibrahim Al-Mubarak is leading the Kingdom’s public and private-sector delegation on behalf of Minister of Investment Fahad bin Abduljalil Al-Saif during an official visit to China from September 6 to 12.

The visit aims to strengthen investment relations and expand public and private-sector partnerships between the two countries.

Its agenda includes meetings with senior officials, business leaders and investors to explore joint investment opportunities in priority sectors, including financial services, industry, communications and technology, energy, real estate and infrastructure, transportation and logistics.

Discussions will also focus on partnerships supporting knowledge and technology transfer and the development of value chains, while highlighting developments in Saudi Arabia’s investment environment and the competitive advantages, incentives and enablers available to investors.
