Defense and aerospace exports reached 511.4 million dollars in August 2026

In his post on his social media account, Görgün stated that the defense and aerospace industry has increased its power in exports and said, "Our defense and aviation exports amounted to 511.4 million dollars in August 2026. In the 8 months of the year, our exports increased by 16.2 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and reached 6.3 billion dollars." he said.

Görgün informed that in the last 12-month period, total exports increased by 29.3 percent compared to the previous period, reaching 10.9 billion dollars, and said:

"The export performance we have achieved today is a strong indicator of our engineering competence, production capability and increasing effectiveness in international markets. Under the leadership of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we continue our work for a highly competitive and sustainable defense industry export that reaches more countries.
