Şebnem Ferah Returned to the Stage After a 6-Year Break with Ankara Concert

Şebnem Ferah, one of the important names of Turkish rock music, met with 52 thousand music lovers at the concert she gave in Ankara, after a break of approximately 6 years.

Ferah, who started giving concerts again this year, appeared before her fans in Ankara at the Atatürk Orman Çiftliği Concert Area, after Istanbul and Izmir.

Music lovers showed great interest in the concert, whose tickets were sold out the day it went on sale. Hours before the concert, long queues formed in front of the area, and Şebnem Ferah was greeted with intense applause as she went on stage.

After the opening, where songs bearing traces of Ferah's musical career were projected on the LED screen with the metaphor of "Phoenix", the artist sang "Pebbles" and "There is Another Way".

Ferah, who received applause from the audience with her strong vocals and stage performance, sang her popular works, including "Can Kırıkları", "Sil Baştan", "Sigara", "This Love is Much for You", "Mine Field", "While I'm Singing My Song" and "Deli Kızım Uyan".

Music lovers who filled the concert area sang along with the memorable songs from the albums Ferah released in different periods.

Ferah was accompanied by Ozan Tügen on keyboard, Buket Doran on bass guitar, Aykan İlkan on drums, Serdar Barçın on brass, Barış Manisa on guitar and Ceren Tügen Akdeniz on backing vocals.

"IN THE FIRST 3-4 SONGS, I GET THE EXCITEMENT TOO MUCH"

Addressing the audience in the first part of the concert, Ferah said that she wanted to keep the conversation short and continue with the songs due to the cold weather.

Stating that he is excited to appear in front of a large audience again, Ferah said, "When it is very crowded, and even more so after 6 years or so, it becomes difficult to speak, or rather to try to choose sentences meaningfully. In the first 3-4 songs, my excitement is at its peak. I hope everyone is happy that they came so far. Have a nice evening, let's have a wonderful evening." he said.

Ferah thanked the audience and said, "We thank you very much for coming, for taking the time, for choosing to be here together. Welcome again." he said.

As part of the concert series, Şebnem Ferah will perform in Antalya on 10 October, in Istanbul on 17 October, in Bursa on 24 October, in Adana on 31 October and in Istanbul again on 7 November.
