Martyr specialist sergeant was buried in Kahramanmaraş

The body of Infantry Specialist Sergeant Yusuf Güneş, who fell ill while on duty in Ankara and was martyred in the hospital where he was taken, was brought to his hometown Kahramanmaraş.

The body, taken from the hospital morgue, was first taken to his father's home and then to the Abdulhamid Khan Mosque. The family of the martyr, Governor of Kahramanmaraş Mükerrem Ünlüer, members of parliament, military and civilian officials and citizens attended the military ceremony held here.

Mother Emine and father Salih Güneş had difficulty standing at the ceremony. After the imam received forgiveness, the funeral prayer was performed, and then Yusuf Güneş's coffin, tied with the Turkish flag, was placed on the gun carriage.

Hüsne Güneş, who attended the ceremony wearing her husband's parka, shed tears while caressing the coffin. Güneş, carrying his wife's photograph in his hand, accompanied the hearse by holding the coffin for a while.

The body of Yusuf Güneş, the father of two children, was buried in tears at the martyrdom in Şeyh Adil Cemetery, where he was taken.
