Serra Antiga on Rodovia dos Tamoios remains closed due to rain

Serra Antiga on the Tamoios highway remains closed this Sunday morning (13) due to the high volume of rain and the risk of a barrier falling. According to the concessionaire that manages the highway, there is no forecast for the road to be opened.

At 8:30 am the "train operation" began towards São José dos Campos, in Serra Nova. Traffic follows the stop and go system, alternating directions.

Serra Antiga on Rodovia dos Tamoios was closed again in the early hours of this Saturday (12), less than nine hours after being opened to traffic. The blockage occurred due to the high volume of rain and the risk of barriers falling on the stretch.

Traffic had been released at 5:35 pm this Friday (11), after remaining closed for 22 hours and 35 minutes. The section had been closed at 7pm on Thursday (10), also because of the high volume of rain accumulated in recent days and the risk of barriers falling.
