Sicoob Credisul holds transition and training meeting for new delegates

The program began on Friday, the 21st, with a dinner and a ceremony to recognize the delegates and fiscal councilors who were part of the previous administration. The moment also included a presentation on the history, operations and results of Sicoob Credisul, led by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ivan Capra, and the Executive Director - CEO, Vilmar Saúgo.

For Ivan Capra, the meeting was an opportunity to bring the arriving delegates closer to those who are finishing their activities. "It is a very important moment for our cooperative. We have brought together two teams: the new delegates, who will take on the role, and those who are ending their management. This exchange of ideas, experiences and information strengthens our cooperative. It is in this space that we show what the members need and how the delegates can act to represent these needs".

Among the delegates closing the cycle is Dulceara Costa, who worked for 12 years as a representative of the cooperative members. "The experience as a delegate was very important for me. As I am an accountant, I was able to bring knowledge about the cooperative to my clients and colleagues and also encourage new people to be part of it. As a delegate, I participated in decisions and important moments. I believe that this is how we strengthen cooperativism. For those who are arriving, participating in the training is essential to understand how everything works."

On Saturday, 22nd, the new delegates participated in integration training. The training presented information about the cooperative, the principles of cooperativism and the responsibilities of those who represent the members.

Vilmar Saúgo highlighted that this process is important to prepare new representatives for the role. "We are experiencing a time of renewal for our group of delegates. Therefore, it is important to prepare them for this new stage. They are the ones who represent the members on a daily basis and help to bring their needs and suggestions to the cooperative. This proximity helps to improve service and strengthen the relationship with each member."

The visits allowed participants to get to know projects and structures that are part of the cooperative's activities up close and expand their understanding of the initiatives developed in different areas.

For new delegate Douglas Brum, the desire to participate more closely in the cooperative's actions was one of the reasons for applying for the role. "I have always been interested in participating in the cooperative, in the events and initiatives that Sicoob Credisul develops in society. As a delegate, I hope to learn more about the cooperative and its actions and also contribute with my knowledge and professional experience."
