As previously announced, Skoda officially launched the new Epiq pure electric SUV on May 19. It adopts a single-motor front-wheel drive configuration, provides multiple power specifications and two battery capacity options, and has a maximum cruising range of 430 kilometers. The new Epiq will be the first to be launched in Europe, with a starting price of 25,900 euros, approximately NT$950,000, making it the most affordable entry-level electric travel option in the region.

The new Epiq has a body size of 4,171 x 1,798 x 1,581 mm and a wheelbase of 2,601 mm. It uses the latest family-style design vocabulary of Modern Solid to create an avant-garde appearance. The front of the car is identified by T-shaped daytime running lights and LED transverse dot matrix light bars. Below it is a matrix LED headlight set. The unique front bumper shape also strengthens the SUV's strong image. The highlights on the side of the car are the suspended roof, thick C-pillars and aerodynamically shaped aluminum rings. The LED taillights and rear bumper design behind the car echo each other with the front of the car, making the overall shape more consistent. The car adopts a horizontal cockpit layout and introduces Modern Solid design vocabulary to create a simple and neat cabin atmosphere. The highlight is the new driving interface composed of a 5.3-inch digital instrument and a 13-inch central touch screen. There is a row of physical buttons below, providing a convenient and intuitive operating experience. It also has a wireless charging pad, which is in line with current technological trends. The new two-spoke steering wheel is another interior highlight, with scroll wheel controls on both sides for easy operation of various vehicle functions. In addition, the manufacturer also emphasized that the new Epiq has a trunk volume of 475 to 1,344 liters, demonstrating the space advantage of an SUV.

In terms of power, the new Epiq will provide three models, 35, 40 and 55, all with single-motor front-wheel drive configuration. The 35 and 40 models are equipped with a 38.5 kWh battery pack, which can provide a maximum horsepower output of 114 horses and 133 horses, and a cruising range of 315 kilometers, while the 55 top-spec model is equipped with a 55 kWh battery pack with 207 horses/29.6 It has a maximum output of 10,000 kilograms and meters, can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers in 7.4 seconds, and has a cruising range of 430 kilometers.
