Breaking news... A truck and a passenger bus collided in Manisa! 11 dead, 27 injured

It was reported that there were dead and injured people as a result of the collision between a truck and a passenger bus in Manisa's Akhisar district. A truck and a passenger bus collided at the Akhisar Toll booths of the Gebze-Orhangazi-İzmir Highway.

Upon the notice that there were dead and injured people in the accident, many ambulances, firefighters and police teams were dispatched to the region.

STATEMENT FROM THE GOVERNORSHIP

In the statement made by Manisa Governorship, the following statements were used:

"Today, at 11.11, it was reported that a tour bus and a tow truck, going from Bursa to Izmir, were involved in an accident near the Akhisar highway entrance. Health and rescue teams were directed to the scene, and rescue efforts were quickly initiated for our citizens affected by the accident. 11 of our citizens died and 27 citizens were injured in the accident. Our injured citizens were referred to hospitals. We wish God's mercy to our citizens who died in the accident and a speedy recovery to our injured."
