BREAKING MARDIN ACCIDENT NEWS: Two mothers and four children were sent off to their final journey!

The accident occurred yesterday afternoon in the rural Tepealtı District location on the Nusaybin-Cizre road.

The car with plate number 47 ADZ 606, the driver of which was not known, and which included people returning from condolences to a relative in the district center, went out of control and flew into the water canal on the side of the road.

Upon notice, health, fire brigade and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident.

During the check carried out by the teams, it was determined that Zana Öztürk (5), Mert Öztürk (5), Mehmet Şirin Öztürk (11) and Lavin Öztürk (9), who were stuck in the vehicle, lost their lives.

Fikriye Öztürk (30) and Gülcan Öztürk (28), who were injured in the accident, were taken to Nusaybin State Hospital by ambulance after their first aid.

Two women who were taken for treatment could not be saved.

It was learned that Fikriye Öztürk, who lost her life in the accident, was the mother of Mert and Mehmet Şirin Öztürk, and her sister-in-law Gülcan Öztürk was the mother of Lavin and Zana Öztürk.

The bodies of 6 people were taken to the morgue of the Forensic Medicine Institute at Mardin Training and Research Hospital for autopsy after the procedures at Nusaybin State Hospital.

The bodies, after the autopsy procedures were completed and delivered to their relatives, were brought to the rural Topaç District.

Two mothers and their children were buried side by side amidst the tears of their relatives.
