By Shim Sun-ah SEOUL, Aug. 25 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's first music festival aiming for carbon neutrality will be held in Incheon this weekend, featuring a wide range of K-pop artists, such as god, Highlight, Onew and Zion.T and Epik High, its organizer said Tuesday. The Sustainable Wave Festival 2026 will take place Saturday and Sunday at the Incheon Munhak Sports Complex, just west of Seoul, according to AOD. Billed as an eco-friendly cultural event combining music with sustainability initiatives, the festival will measure the environmental impact of its operations so its organizers can use the results to explore ways to make future music festivals more sustainable. The event will also provide hands-on activities designed to introduce visitors to eco-friendly campaigns, ESG programs and sustainable lifestyles, AOD said. The two-day lineup will span various genres, including hip-hop, R&B, ballads, band music and idol performances. It includes K-pop acts god, Highlight, Onew and B1A4; as well as hip-hop and R&B artists Epik High, Zion.T and Gray; singer-songwriters Bolbbalgan4, Paul Kim and Sunwoo Junga; and band Soran.
