Isar Aerospace is preparing to launch its new space rocket

Isar Aerospace wrote on the “X” social networking site after the successful launch of the rocket: “We are in orbit! We have entered European history as for the first time a rocket made by a private company reached orbit from the European continent.”

This was the second launch of a Spectrum missile. The first launch in March 2025 failed, as the missile fell into the sea shortly after its launch.

Isar Aerospace, which was founded in 2018 in Munich, became the first German company to successfully launch a space rocket.
