Tarık Biberovic: On his NBA transfer process and goals

National basketball player Tarık Biberovic, who was transferred to Dallas Mavericks, answered the questions of Spor Arena reporter Selen Cansu Aksoy.

HERE IS THE FULL INTERVIEW

When you came to Fenerbahçe at the age of 17, did you think the NBA was a realistic goal?

As a kid, I always had the dream of going to the NBA. Realizing that dream becomes another goal and I am really happy that I achieved it. But this is a new beginning as we continue to write the story.

After achieving significant success in Fenerbahçe and EuroLeague, a new challenge at a completely different level like the NBA awaits you. How are you preparing for this new challenge as a Red Bull athlete?

Of course, this new story will be a new challenge for us. We will raise it to the top with our friendship with Red Bull. With God's permission, we will achieve the best success. This is our most important thing.

You have created a unique gaming identity in Europe. What do you think will make you different in the NBA?

My shooting and character are always the most important things for me. I never gave up and always went towards winning. I think I can reflect this character and mental structure to all my teammates. I actually think my game is better suited to the NBA. I hope I will be able to reflect it.

As you prepare for your first season in the NBA, what exactly is the biggest goal you set for yourself?

With God's permission, let's stay healthy. With the opportunity, I will show what I am. I don't have any small goals, but to be able to play better in each match than the next. I want to be a more reliable player and have a good career.

What is the biggest leap in your career? Coming to Fenerbahçe, EuroLeague championship or NBA?

That's a good question. The biggest jump was when I first held a ball. But so far, I think going from EuroLeague to the NBA has been the biggest step.
