TEKNOFEST Started at Mavi Vatan Gölcük Shipyard Command

TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland, with Anadolu Agency (AA) as the Global Communication Partner and the main execution of the Ministry of National Defense and the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), started at the Gölcük Shipyard Command.

TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland, which will bring together technology and defense industry enthusiasts with a maritime focus, will host its visitors until August 23.

The event includes a wide range of products and technologies, from different classes of platforms of the Turkish Navy to unmanned systems, from aircraft to air defense and missile systems.

In this context, 37 different naval elements and platforms are exhibited at TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland.

These include TCG Anadolu, TCG Barbaros, TCG Salihreis, TCG Turgutreis, TCG Kemalreis, TCG Derya, TCG Tufan, TCG Akçay, TCG Alemdar, TCG İstanbul, TCG Oruçreis, TCG Burgazada, TCG İmbat, TCG Amasra, TCG Sancaktar and TCG Kalkan.

In addition to various submarine platforms, TCG Savarona and Museum Ship Yavuz, iconic sea vessels of the history of the Republic, are also in the event area.

Technology competitions, sports competitions, stand activities, workshops and sea and air shows will also be held at TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland.

Among these events, it is aimed to provide a good experience to the visitors with special demonstrations of SAT and SAS commands, unmanned underwater systems cruise demonstration, sprint swimming race and various exhibitions.
