Terrible accident on TEM Highway: 1 dead, 2 injured

The accident occurred around 01:00 on the TEM Highway, Kağıthane, in the direction of Ankara. According to the information obtained, the car with plate number 06 FN 8045 crashed into the back of the taxi with plate number 34 TAJ 72, which was moving in the same direction. The taxi, which was thrown by the impact of the impact, crashed into the barriers and stopped, while the car got stuck between the barriers. The driver of the car and 2 people in the vehicle were injured in the accident. The taxi driver survived the accident uninjured. Upon notice, fire brigade, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.

The driver, who was stuck in the car, was removed from the stuck place by the fire brigade and handed over to the medical teams. After the first aid at the scene, the injured were taken to hospital by ambulance. The driver of the car, who was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, died in the hospital where he was taken.

Due to the accident, two lanes in the direction of Ankara were closed to traffic. There was traffic congestion on the highway, where transportation is controlled. After the car stuck between the barriers was removed with a tow truck and the accident vehicles were removed, the closed lanes were reopened to traffic.

An investigation into the accident has been launched.
