Revolutionary Guards say they attacked US-linked oil tankers in retaliation for strikes
The Revolutionary Guards, Iran's powerful armed force, claimed this Saturday to have attacked several ships, some of which they believe are linked to the United States, in retaliation for American strikes carried out earlier against Iranian oil tankers.
After the U.S. attack on the three tankers, Revolutionary Guard naval forces “targeted three tankers using the unauthorized route through the Strait of Hormuz, as well as three vessels affiliated with child-killing America in other areas,” the Guards said on their official Telegram channel, warning other vessels against attempting to pass through unauthorized routes.

The Iranian army promised this Saturday "harsher" retaliation against American warships if Washington continued its strikes against Iranian ships, after the United States said it had put three Iranian tankers incapacitated.
“The US terrorist military is on notice that if the malicious acts, insecurity and harassment of Iranian ships as well as the naval blockade of Iran continue, strikes by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran against US military buildings in the region will be harsher than before and may expand,” said Khatam al-Anbiya, the Joint Central Military Command.

The US military said it struck and “destroyed” three Iranian oil tankers this Saturday, one in the Gulf and two in the Gulf of Oman, after two of its ships were targeted by Tehran.
The American army “struck three Iranian oil tankers after the Revolutionary Guards launched missiles at two American naval ships patrolling regional waters,” writes the American Middle East Command on the social network X. It specifies having “permanently neutralized” two and having “completely destroyed” a third.
