TFF General Secretary Abdullah Ayaz resigned

In the "Referees file" investigation initiated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, an arrest warrant was issued for 5 people, including the President of the Central Referee Board (MHK), Ferhat Gündoğdu, while 2 people were released on condition of judicial control.

Within the scope of the investigation, Super League referee Yasin Kol and assistant referee Göktuğ Hazar Erel were also arrested; The Board of Directors of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) decided to meet on Friday, October 9, with the extraordinary election agenda.

Following the events, Ural Aküzüm, Board Member Responsible for Amateur Football, Women's Football and Disabled Football, Mustafa Temel Bozbağ, Board Member Responsible for Young National and Women's National Teams, Club Licensing Affairs, Facilities and Investments, and Mevlüt Aktan, TFF Board Member Responsible for Strategic Planning and Development, officially announced their resignations.

Finally, Turkish Football Federation General Secretary Abdullah Ayaz announced that he resigned from his position.
