TMO Purchased 11.5 Million Tons of Products

Mehmet Yumaklı, President of Turkish Combat Office (TMO), made a written statement and stated that TMO carried out a strong procurement organization in the field to ensure that producers receive the reward of their labor on time. TMO continues to accept products at 769 purchasing centers. Since the beginning of the harvest season, 11.5 million tons of product have been purchased and approximately 120 billion lira has been paid to producers.

Yumaklı emphasized that TMO has a purchasing capacity of 20 million tons and said, "Our valued producers should be of peace. We will purchase all the products coming to TMO. Our purchasing activities continue rapidly." he said. He stated that grains are of strategic importance for Türkiye and that wheat and barley are among the basic products of food supply security. He added that Türkiye ranks first in world flour exports and second in pasta exports.

Yumaklı said that strong production is critical for both the domestic market and exports. He thanked all the producers who contributed to the country's production power for their efforts and efforts. He also congratulated the members of TMO, who meticulously continued the procurement organization in the field, for their devoted work.
