A sponsorship agreement was signed between TMOK and THY

Within the scope of the signed agreement, THY became the official sponsor of the Turkish Olympic Team. With the cooperation covering the years 2027-2028, THY will be a supporter of Turkish sports in international organizations, especially the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.

Turkish Airlines General Manager and Executive Committee Member Ahmet Olulmuş and TOC President Veli Ozan Çakır attended the signing ceremony at the Turkish Airlines General Directorate VIP Meeting Hall.

Ahmet Olmuş said that the first snapshot he remembers about the Olympic Games was the gold medal won by former national weightlifter Naim Süleymanoğlu in Seoul in 1988, and said: "I am also on the board of directors of TOC. For us, this agreement is much more than a sponsorship. This is a companionship for us. Not all journeys lead to a city. Sometimes they lead to a medal, sometimes they lead to pride." he said.

Parent Ozan Çakır stated that they signed a very meaningful agreement for them and said, "As TOC, we have always supported our athletes and technical teams preparing for the Olympic Games. We have been their companions with our federations and the Ministry of Youth and Sports. This support that THY will provide us will increase our strength. More importantly, this agreement will make a serious image contribution to both this Olympic journey and the candidacy process of Istanbul, which is a candidate for the 2036 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
