"Şehrimizin dört bir yanından alınan içme suyu numuneleri düzenli olarak analiz edilmektedir. İçme sularında yapılan gözlemsel kontrollerde herhangi bir koku ve renk değişimine rastlanmamıştır. Yağışların yoğun olduğu dönemde bile içme suyu kalitesinde herhangi bir değişim tespit edilmemiştir. En son 5 Ekim 2026 tarihinde yapılan test sonuçlarında ise herhangi bir olumsuzluğa rastlanmamıştır. Test sonuçları açıklanana kadar vatandaşlarımızın geçici bir süre temkinli ve kaynatarak su kullanmasını önemle rica ediyorum. Bu süre zarfında klorlama nedeniyle içme sularında hafif bir koku olabilir. Vatandaşlarımızın doğru bilgilendirme için resmi kurumlarımızı takip etmeleri önemle rica olunur.’’

Tokat İl Sağlık Müdürlüğü Halk Sağlığı Hizmetleri Başkanı Dr. İhsan Canbolat ise başvuruların ilk olarak çocuk hastalarda görüldüğünü, daha sonra yetişkinlerin de benzer şikayetlerle hastanelere geldiğini söyledi. Canbolat, "Bize ilk etapta çocuk hastalarımız bulantı, kusma ve karın ağrısı şikayetiyle başvurdu. Daha sonra yetişkin hastalara sıçrama oldu. 15 yatan hastamız var, hepsinin genel durumu iyi. Dün saat 21.00 sıralarında başlayan başvurularda toplam sayı 1300-1400 civarında, ancak süreç devam ettiği için sayılar değişkenlik gösterecektir" diye konuştu.
