Toxic Day 7 Box Office Collection: Yash Starrer Crosses Rs 300 Crore Globally

Toxic-starrer ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ is maintaining its theatrical momentum as it enters its seventh day at the box office.

After a spectacular opening of Rs. 101.10 crore on Day 1, the Geetu Mohandas directorial has continued to add substantial numbers and gross over Rs 300 crore globally despite mixed reviews, strong criticism and expected weekday slowdown on its first Monday.

With its opening day collection, ‘Toxic’ breached the reported opening-day benchmark of ‘Dhurandhar Part 1’, giving Yash another significant box-office record to its name.

The immediate domestic target now is the Rs. 225 crore India net mark, followed by the Rs. 250 crore milestone.

With the film already at Rs. 221.91 crore on Day 7 live tracking, it needs roughly Rs 28 crore more to reach the first milestone.

The next major worldwide benchmark could be Rs. 310 crore.

Having crossed Rs. 300 crore globally after six days, the film has already established a strong international footprint.

'Toxic' Day 1 to Day 6 earnings

‘Toxic’ opened with Rs. 101.10 crore net on Day 1, setting the tone for its theatrical run.

The film collected Rs. 37.65 crore on Day 2, followed by Rs. 27.20 crore on Day 3.

It then added Rs. 25.15 crore on Day 4 and Rs. 23 crore on Day 5.

The first five days took its India net collection to Rs. 214.10 crore.

On Day 6, ‘Toxic’ collected Rs 7.45 crore net in India, a 67.6% decline from its Day 5 collection.

The film’s international performance also contributed significantly to its early worldwide total.

It opened with Rs. 20 crore overseas on Day 1, followed by Rs. 8 crore on Day 2 and Rs. 3.50 crore on Day 3.

By the end of Day 5, the overseas gross had reached Rs 29.25 crore.

The overseas market contributed another Rs. 2 crore on Day 6, taking the international gross to Rs. 39.25 crore.

By the end of Day 6, the film had reached Rs. 221.55 crore India net and Rs. 304.05 crore worldwide gross.

'Toxic' Day 7 collection live tracking

According to Sacnilk's live tracking, ‘Toxic’ has added Rs. 1.73 crore net to its domestic collection across 6,384 shows.

With the day's final business yet to be reported, the film's domestic net total has reached Rs 223.48 crore, while the India now gross stands at Rs 267.04 crore.

The latest language-wise live figures include Rs. 1.08 crore from Hindi, Rs. 41 lakh from Kannada, Rs. 17 lakh from Telugu and Rs. 7 lakh from Tamil.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ is a gangster drama set against the backdrop of Portuguese-era Goa.

The film follows Raya, played by Yash, as he navigates the criminal underworld while dealing with complicated family relationships and personal loyalties.

His bond with his sister Ganga forms an important part of the narrative, while his relationships with the women around him add further layers to the story.

Yash appears in a dual role as Raya and his son Ticket, marking another substantial transformation for the actor following his hugely popular ‘KGF’ films.

Alongside Yash, the film features Nayanthara as Ganga, Kiara Advani as Nadia and Rukmini Vasanth as Mellisa.
