Through small incisions in the skin, the doctor inserts a camera and specialized tools into the joint to directly observe, accurately reconstruct the ligament and treat meniscus damage without affecting the surrounding healthy tissue. A representative of the Department of Trauma and Orthopedics said that the anterior cruciate ligament plays a key role in helping the knee joint stay stable during turning movements, changing direction or sudden braking. If this injury is ignored, it will cause the joint to loosen, easily tear the cartilage and accelerate the rate of osteoarthritis.
