Trendyol brought together the work it carried out in the field of sustainability throughout 2025, its concrete achievements and its future commitments in its fourth Sustainability Report.

The report, which examines Trendyol's sustainability performance with its economic, environmental and social dimensions, reveals the value created by the company with its wide ecosystem and its contributions to sustainable development. The report, which reveals the company's progress in sustainability throughout the year with measurable indicators, also sheds light on the updated targets for 2030.

The report, prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, was created with the contributions of Trendyol's different business units and functions. Taking steps to make sustainability the common agenda of the entire organization in 2025, Trendyol started the transition to a function-based governance model with sustainability working groups consisting of more than 100 team members.

The company collected the opinions of all its stakeholders with a two-way prioritization approach and systematically shared 20 priority issues and 108 impacts, risks and opportunities in the environmental and social field by turning them into focused tables this year. Through this study, Trendyol evaluated its environmental and social impacts as well as financial risks and opportunities related to sustainability.

Erdem İnan: “We make sustainable growth possible by creating value with our ecosystem”

Trendyol Group CEO Erdem İnan said the following in his evaluation of the company's sustainability approach:

"As Trendyol, since our establishment, we have never seen growth only as the growth of our own scale. For us, growth means creating value together, creating new opportunities for everyone in our ecosystem and ensuring that this value spreads to as wide an area as possible.

In 2025, we took important steps towards making sustainability the common agenda of our entire organization. As we re-evaluated our priorities, we focused on managing our environmental and social impacts more systematically. In this report, we transparently share not only the areas in which we have progressed, but also the points where we see opportunities for improvement.

Our priority in the coming period is to continue our growth with an approach that reduces our environmental impact, creates opportunities for more people and supports the development of our ecosystem. “By making sustainability an integral part of our way of doing business, we will continue to create long-term and lasting value together with all our stakeholders.”

Trendyol updated its 2030 targets and added new targets to the road map

Trendyol reviewed its sustainability road map by evaluating its progress and development areas throughout 2025. While the company updated its existing 2030 targets in line with changing needs, growing sphere of influence and sustainability priorities, it also added new targets to its road map.

In this context, Trendyol aims to switch to certified renewable electricity use in all its locations by 2030 and to produce 20 percent of Trendyol Collection products from certified and patented sustainable materials.

In terms of people, the priority goals are to support the digital and economic empowerment of 50 thousand people and train 5 thousand qualified e-commerce experts by 2030.

In line with its long-term climate commitments, Trendyol aims to be carbon neutral in its own operations by 2040 and in its entire value chain by 2050.

The company switched to using certified renewable electricity in all of its logistics centers and operation facilities in 2025, and provided 56 percent of the electricity it consumed throughout the year in all its locations, including offices, from certified renewable sources. While Trendyol reduced its market-based Scope 2 emissions by 58 percent compared to the previous year, it saved 828 thousand 795 kWh of electricity, 74 thousand 916 standard cubic meters of natural gas and 8 thousand 802 cubic meters of water with its energy efficiency projects.

With the efficiency practices implemented in logistics operations, more than 500 thousand kilometers were saved, in other words, enough to travel around the world almost 13 times. In the packaging area, all cargo bags were produced from recyclable materials, while 50 percent recycled materials continued to be used in the bags.

More than 14 million second-hand products were put back into circulation through the cabinet, contributing to extending the lifespan of the products. The number of products labeled Trendyol Care exceeded 749 thousand.

Within the scope of the Villages of Tomorrow project, carried out in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), it was aimed to develop the digital skills of local producers, increase the participation of women in economic life and support the access of products produced in rural areas to new markets through digital centers implemented in Adana, Izmir, Sakarya and Diyarbakır.

3 thousand young people were introduced to e-commerce with the Digital Master program carried out in cooperation with TOBB and Habitat Association.

Initiatives such as Basket Goodness, which supports non-governmental organizations, Trendyol Sanat, which makes art accessible to everyone, and Turkey's Museums, which contributes to the digitalization of museum retailing, were among Trendyol's examples of social benefit.
