Three people are arrested and two remain at large after murder in Simonésia

The military was called after information about gunshots on the way out to the district of Palmeiras. At the scene, they found the victim with several gunshot wounds to vital areas of his body. Uarlem died at the scene. According to the military, he had police records for theft, drug trafficking and drug use and consumption.

Civil Police technical expertise was at the scene and collected several ammunition cases. The dynamics of the homicide and the participation of each suspect are still being investigated.

During the investigation, the police identified a motorcycle that had been used in the crime. The vehicle was located along with a 39-year-old man, identified as a suspect in the homicide.

Afterwards, the military located a 25-year-old man, identified as the author of the shooting. Upon noticing the police presence, he tried to throw a 9 mm caliber pistol through the window of a residence.

According to the PM, the man resisted the approach, but was restrained and arrested. There was also an open arrest warrant against him.

During the operation, a 9 mm caliber pistol, 17 ammunition of the same caliber, two chargers, two .38 caliber ammunition, a motorcycle, two helmets, items of clothing, R$256 in cash, a cell phone and a marijuana tablet were seized.

According to the Military Police, information gathered during investigations indicates that the homicide may be related to drug trafficking in the region.

Initially, five people are identified as involved in the crime. Three were arrested and two others remain at large.

The prisoners were taken to the Civil Police Station on duty, along with the seized materials. The motivation for the murder and the participation of each suspect will be investigated by the Civil Police.
