US President Donald Trump met with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member countries at the UN building. President Erdogan made a statement regarding the summit: "We are working to overcome the problems in the Gulf."
In addition to Turkey, the leaders and foreign ministers of GCC members Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman, as well as Egypt, Syria, Iraq and Lebanon attended the meeting on Iran. Noting that they had a very productive meeting with Iran, Trump stated that they will follow together how the process will progress from now on.
"Talks have been going on for a while, I think there's a lot of momentum for them to reach an agreement. That's what we're hearing from everyone," Trump said, adding that it would be good for everyone if they reached an agreement. Evaluating the issue of when the crisis with Iran might be resolved, the US President said, "We think that the situation with Iran may end right after the midterm elections (on November 3), or maybe even before. I don't know, these things can never be known." Trump repeated his rhetoric that they would either make a deal with Tehran or, if they could not reach an agreement, they would "destroy" this country. Stating that the leaders of the countries at the table made great efforts to stop the bloodshed in Gaza, Trump stated that these countries are ready to make significant contributions to the reconstruction process of Gaza. While no questions were taken after Trump's statements, the remainder of the meeting was closed to the press.
'We are working for a solution'
President Erdoğan answered the questions of the press members during his arrival at the Turkevi after the Gulf Summit. A press member asked: "Is there a solution on the horizon for the fire in the Gulf?" Erdoğan answered the question: "We are working on it, and with these efforts we want to overcome the problems in the Gulf as soon as possible" and said that they want to reap the fruits of these efforts as soon as possible. "Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian is coming. There is a possibility of meeting with Trump. It seems like a door of hope has opened. Will you come together?" Erdogan's answer to the question was, "I don't know what's in the program right now. My friends will let me know."

During his speech, Trump turned to President Erdoğan and said, "Exactly a year ago, many countries came together here as part of the side events of the United Nations and discussed how we could end the bloody war in Gaza, and almost the same names were here. Among them was my friend from Turkey, right there. He is a tough guy. Don't mess with him. He is a really great guy."
'I named it Super Intelligence'
While US President Donald Trump praised the economic situation of his country in his speech at the UN General Assembly, he said about Iran: "I have said this since the first day I entered politics. I will never allow Iran to have access to nuclear weapons." Trump said that he changed the name of artificial intelligence and said, "From now on, it will be referred to as super intelligence." The reason for this was, "The term artificial makes artificial intelligence seem fake. It's not fake at all..." Trump said, adding, "There were people who said we would die due to global warming, you see the world is getting colder, and no one died. Those who say these things about artificial intelligence are the same people."
Fidan attended the quadruple meeting
Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan attended the Sixth Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Türkiye-Egypt-Pakistan-Saudi Arabia. It was reported that Minister Fidan also attended the coordination meeting held on the margins of the 81st UN General Assembly with the participation of the Foreign Ministers of the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Qatar, Egypt, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
Netanyahu-Mamdani debate
