Trump: I can invite Zelensky to the G20 Leaders Summit

According to reports in the US media, US President Donald Trump spoke to reporters at his Mar-a-Lago mansion in the Palm Beach region of Florida.

Asked whether he would invite Ukrainian President Zelenski to the G20 Leaders Summit to be held in Florida in the middle of next month, Trump said: "I invite. I do. No problem." he replied.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed in his statement in September that the USA invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to the summit despite the war between Russia and Ukraine.

"We think this is an opportunity for him (Putin) to meet not only with the president, but also with other world leaders. We hope he accepts this invitation," Rubio said. He used the following expressions:

G20 REPRESENTS 85 PERCENT OF THE GLOBAL ECONOMY

The USA will host the G20 Summit, where the leaders of the world's largest economies will meet for negotiations, at the Trump National Doral facility on December 14-15.

The G20 represents approximately 85 percent of the global economy and 75 percent of world trade.
