Tuğba Ekinci was born on June 9, 1977 in Göztepe District of Kadıköy district of Istanbul. His father's side is originally from Ganja. Ekinci graduated from Semiha Şakir High School. Her mother is a nurse and her father is a civil engineer who graduated from Istanbul Technical University (ITU).
