Speaking about the development that took place a few days after the signing of the "Mecca Joint Defense Agreement", which is important in terms of strategic cooperation between Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Turkey beyond security issues, Turki Alalshikh underlined the support provided by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and expressed his gratitude.

Riyadh Season, which is the sponsor of the Spanish Super Cup and organized by GEA, is a state-supported culture, entertainment and tourism festival held every year in the capital Riyadh within the scope of Saudi Arabia's 2030 Vision.

Stating that the sponsorship agreement is the beginning of many surprises between Türkiye and Saudi Arabia, which have deep-rooted relations going back thousands of years, Alalshikh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Arabia's 'General Entertainment Administration' (GEA), said:

"I am very happy. This is just the beginning of a wonderful relationship. When we met with my brother Bilal Erdoğan in Istanbul 1.5 months ago, we promised that we would bring many surprises with us. Spanish Super Cup to be held in Istanbul within the scope of the agreement made between the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and Sela, in cooperation with the Turkish Football Federation (TFF); It will be played at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium, which also hosts the UEFA Champions League finals.

Positioned as the supervisory organization within the framework of this cooperation, the Saudi company Sela is responsible for the management of the commercial rights and operations of the Spanish Super Cup in Istanbul, in cooperation with the Royal Spanish Football Federation and the Turkish Football Federation.

The calendar and ticket sales details of the Tournament, in which Barcelona, ​​Real Madrid, Real Sociedad and Atlético Madrid teams will compete, are expected to be announced.
