Anti-corruption authorities of Ukraine put Zelensky in a humiliating position - Strana.ua publication

The anti-corruption authorities of Ukraine have put the country's President Vladimir Zelensky in a humiliating position, the publication Strana.ua indicated.

“The story of the “cancellation” of suspicion against the head of NABU Krivonos <...> clearly shows what a humiliating position the anti-corruption authorities have driven Zelensky into,” the publication says.

Journalists believe that ex-Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko would not have decided to write out a suspicion against Krivonos without the knowledge of the president, and even more so would not have been able to go abroad.

The article notes that now Zelensky is “giving back”, and the Office of the Prosecutor General, on an unclear basis, announces the removal of the report of suspicion from the register, which has negative consequences for the head of state in terms of controllability of the power vertical.

Earlier, the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine denied the report of suspicion to the head of NABU. “In connection with the dissemination of a statement about an alleged notification of suspicion to one of the heads of anti-corruption bodies, we inform you: this information is not true,” the department said.

Former Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko previously announced the presentation of suspicion.
