UEFA Champions League League Stage Match Results and Award to Arda Güler

The matches played in the league stage of the UEFA Champions League ended on Tuesday.

Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray's rival in the Champions League, the English representative Aston Villa, won 3-2 away at Club Brugge with the goals of John McGinn, Emiliano Buendia and Nicolas Jackson. The goals of the Belgian team came from Hugo Vetlesen and Nicolo Tresoldi (penalty).

In the match between the two Turkish representatives, the Greek team AEK defeated the Austrian team LASK 1-0 with the goal scored by Razvan Marin.

Spanish team Real Madrid beat Italy's Inter team 2-1 at home with goals from Kylian Mbappe and Federico Valverde. Carlos Augusto's goal was not enough for Inter to get a point.

On the other hand, national football player Arda Güler, who was not in the squad due to a red card penalty, received the breakthrough player of the 2025-2026 season award from former Portuguese star Luis Figo before the match.

In the other match of the day, German team Borussia Dortmund hosted the Spanish representative Villarreal, whom Fenerbahçe will face in the "Giants League". Spanish team Real Betis won 3-2 in the match where they hosted French representative Lille, one of Galatasaray's Champions League rivals.
