Uespi opens registrations to test proficiency in 3 languages; see how to participate

According to the Uespi Language Department, registrations remain open until October 31st and must be made via the website proficiencia.uespi.br. To participate, the candidate must inform the chosen language and use a Gmail email address.

The tests will be held online on November 17th, through the Google Meet and Google Forms platforms. Candidates will have up to two hours to answer five reading and text comprehension questions. Answers must be written in Portuguese.

According to the director of the Department of Languages, Laura Torres, the exam is important for students and researchers who need to demonstrate knowledge of a foreign language to enter postgraduate programs.

Successful candidates will receive a certificate of proficiency, which will be available on the website of the Proficiency Exam Center of the State University of Piauí (NEP/Uespi). The document will be valid for three years.
