A Saint-Mandé high school evacuated after the discovery of a weapon in a bag

Worrying discovery Monday morning, at the Saint-Michel high school, in Saint-Mandé, in Val-de-Marne. The principal found a backpack in the corridors of the establishment, containing in particular a firearm and a box of cartridges, indicates a police source in Le Figaro, confirming information from Europe 1. A suspect was arrested.

The events took place at 7:30 a.m. Monday morning, in a hall in the administrative part of the establishment. In a backpack, the principal found “a weapon with a folding stock and a telescopic sight, a barrel, two silencers, a 5.56 mm caliber cartridge, a box containing 46 22 LR caliber cartridges,” lists our police source. A sheet on which illegible inscriptions were written was also found. The principal immediately alerted the police.
