A human trunk discovered in an unoccupied house in L'Aigle in Orne

Friday morning, a particularly horrible discovery was made in the usually bucolic setting of the Croix Lamirault pond, in l'Aigle, in Orne. According to Ouest France, a human trunk was found in an unoccupied house.

The dismembered body was found abandoned in the pond keeper's former home. The trunk lay on one side, while the severed arms and legs had been wrapped in bags and thrown into a trash can in the house.

A missing person

The gender and identity of the victim are unknown at this stage. An investigation was opened to determine them as well as the causes of death. However, according to our colleagues, the victim could be a person reported missing for several days in the surrounding area.
