Fenerbahçe statement from Unai Emery: Great praise for the four stars

Fenerbahçe will face Aston Villa away in the second week of the UEFA Champions League. Aston Villa Coach Unai Emery made a statement before the match.

Speaking full of praise for the four Fenerbahçe players, Emery said, "Asensio, Guendouzi, Greenwood are fantastic players. Their goalkeeper Ederson is great. Their quality is very high."

Unai Emery used the following statements in his entire statement:

"We are in a realistic situation, we are working, but everything is not enough. We have many conversations with the team, we show them with videos, we do training. We are trying to improve in every match."

"IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO US"

"We have not won yet at Villa Park. It is very important for us to do this. We have an opportunity tomorrow, to improve... It is very important for the players to feel confident. Villa Park is a very special place for us. This is our castle together with our fans."

"IT WILL BE ENERGY FOR US"

"We remind ourselves of Aston Villa winning the Champions League in 1982, how we competed here 2 years ago. I share this with my players. Villa Park will again be filled with the energy we need. We will have fewer fans because 1 stand is closed. This is not an excuse. We must play without our normal number in Villa Park. That is what we will always do."

"THERE ARE NEGATIVE SITUATIONS"

"There are negative situations for some players. There are injuries. We will try to find solutions. Maatsen will not be there tomorrow. Goretzka will be in the squad tomorrow. He will not play because he is in pain, but maybe he can play at the weekend. Considering Onana, he started training with us, he could not play in the Champions League. Madjo also started training. I hope he will start playing on Saturday, even if not tomorrow.

"Injuries continue, some get injured, some get better."

NICOLAS JACKSON RESPONSE

"Nicolas Jackson needs to understand how to move, his strength, speed, skills while he is with us. He showed us the positions in which he feels strong. He is developing the way we want. He needs to adapt to some tactics, our playing styles."

"FENERBAHÇE IS A GREAT CLUB"

"Fenerbahçe is a big club. It has a great history. We played in Istanbul in the past, it was a very difficult match. This time we are at home. They have a different squad, a new coach. We are analyzing their games. They played against Rome at home, and Rome is a very good team. They eliminated Lyon before. They have good players and good coaches. They perform well in Europe."

"FANTASTIC PLAYERS"

"Asensio, Guendouzi, Greenwood are fantastic players. Their goalkeeper Ederson is great. Their quality is very high. They are very good at competing in Europe. We have great respect for Fenerbahçe."

"EUROPE IS VERY DIFFERENT"

"We played one more match in the Champions League and we won. There is one more match tomorrow. The Premier League is a very difficult field. It is one of the most difficult leagues in the world. It is not right to talk right now, but we played a very, very difficult match on Saturday. The European arena is very, very different. It is very difficult to stay at the top of the Premier League."

"OUR GOALS ARE THE SAME"

"Two years ago, we were in the top 8 in the Champions League, this is an incredible success and our goal is the same. It is necessary to win 5-6 matches to be in the top 8. We won the Brugge match, there will be a new competition against Fenerbahçe. We are improving. We hope to win. There are also many expectations from Fenerbahçe. Fenerbahçe has very experienced players, the club is also very experienced. Fenerbahçe is currently fourth in the league, in competition with Galatasaray and Beşiktaş."

"IT HAS NOT CHANGED"

"When I first started working here, my methods were the same, they never changed. Meetings, videos, training... We analyzed everything deeply. My players adapted to my methods very well."
