The thirtieth Ibero-American summit began on November 4th in Madrid. Yesterday and today, leaders and representatives of all 22 countries of the Ibero-American community gathered in the Spanish capital to discuss artificial intelligence and digital transformation, cooperation against natural disasters, academic mobility, assistance and treatment policies and relaunching economic and political cooperation between member states.

At the inauguration ceremony, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez launched an appeal for unity: "The Ibero-American community is a community of values, but also of affections, which always prevail above any economic situation and any difference". The head of government invited the 22 countries of the Ibero-American community to further strengthen ties and overcome political differences, aiming for greater international, economic and diplomatic influence.

King Felipe also in his first speech at the inaugural ceremony launched an appeal to continue supporting the Ibero-American community as an example of "understanding and cooperation", to respond to future global challenges "with one harmonious voice" instead of "22 dissonant voices". The sovereign's first words were dedicated to the victims of the Toledo railway tragedy, in which 69 people lost their lives and which "still today keeps the entire country immersed in pain and consternation".

Then, yesterday evening, King Felipe of Spain and Queen Letizia Ortiz, accompanied by the Spanish Prime Minister Sanchez and the Ibero-American Secretary General, Andrés Allamand, received the presidents and foreign ministers of the 22 Ibero-American countries who had arrived in the Spanish capital for the Summit at the Teatro Real in Madrid.

"The objectives we set ourselves have been achieved", said today the Ibero-American general secretary, Andrés Allamand, outlining at the XXX Ibero-American summit in Madrid the balance of two years of work of the 22 member countries of the Ibero-American community during the Spanish presidency pro tempore. The priorities that emerged were security, economic cooperation, digital transition and climate change.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also flew to Madrid and today had a series of diplomatic talks with the highest Spanish, European and Latin American authorities including King Felipe, Spanish Prime Minister Sanchez and the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa. Also meeting with Portuguese President Antonio José Seguro (pictured): "We talked about our opportunities for joint production of weapons. We place great hopes in further steps in support", wrote Zelensky on X.

For the opening night of the Summit, Queen Letizia Ortiz decided to wear a tight-fitting midnight blue dress, with a midi length and a bateau neckline that fell off the shoulders. The shoes chosen by the Spanish sovereign are the same color as the dress: a pointed slingback in midnight blue patent leather.

To complete the look, Letizia Ortiz opted for a pair of dangling earrings with blue stones and a precious bracelet, which add brightness without weighing down the ensemble. The result is a sophisticated and elegant look, in line with the queen's style.

On the sidelines of the Ibero-American Summit, many events were organized in Madrid in which Queen Letizia took part. All initiatives, held at the Royal Palace of El Pardo, in Madrid, focus on fighting human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation and promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities.

For today's events, Letizia Ortiz opted for a formal and professional look: a light blue suit composed of a light blue tailored blazer with a contoured line, with notch lapels and two-button closure, and straight-cut trousers.
