The reconstruction of an important street in Krakow starts on Monday

The reconstruction of a key section of ul. starts on Monday. Nowohucka in Krakow's Podgórze. Works in the area of ​​the intersection with ul. Koszykarska will be implemented as part of a development agreement and are intended to improve traffic flow and safety.

New lane and infrastructure modernization

As part of the planned works, an additional traffic lane will be created on ul. Nowohucka, which will allow you to turn back towards Stoczniowcy and Saska streets. The technical infrastructure will also be modernized - including: road drainage, street lighting and traffic lights.

The first stage of works will begin with work on the sidewalk towards ul. Basketball. During this time, new street lighting and traffic light infrastructure will be built.

Pedestrian traffic will be directed to a temporary sidewalk located in the adjacent green area.

Due to the works being carried out, the road authority appeals to pedestrians and drivers to exercise particular caution in this area.
