In terms of departures, routes to the Mediterranean will be particularly popular from Île-de-France, as will the Bordeaux-Toulouse-Mediterranean axis and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes routes. But the returns will already be well established. The day is classified orange at the national level, with difficult traffic throughout the country. From the Mediterranean rim towards Île-de-France and Bordeaux via Toulouse, the situation could become very difficult, assures Bison futé. Same atmosphere for crossing the Massif Central and traveling in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. In Île-de-France, the A10 could notably see some holidaymakers return between the start of the afternoon and the start of the evening.

Difficulties could be concentrated from late morning to early afternoon, with a particularly busy time around midday. For the returns, same color, same fight. The roads will be very busy, especially those bringing vacationers from the Mediterranean to Île-de-France. And, in Île-de-France, the toll gates could also experience their great moment of glory: the expected passages will be more numerous than on previous Saturdays, Bison futé further specifies, and occasional slowdowns could appear between the middle of the afternoon and the beginning of the evening.

Normal, it gently reminds us that Monday exists, but also that some still have days to take... The routes to the Mediterranean from Île-de-France and from Bordeaux via Toulouse will remain particularly affected, as well as the routes from Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. On the return side, vacationers leaving the Mediterranean coast to reach Île-de-France will have to expect difficult traffic until the end of the evening.
